A practical remote audio rack with a monitor port and expansion port.
The Allen & Heath AR2412 is a 48 kHz AudioRack with 24 XLR inputs and 12 XLR outputs, compatible with the Qu, Avantis, and SQ mixing consoles, and the AHM-64 audio matrix processor. Adding an AR2412 to your system allows you to place some or all of your I/O up to 100 m away from the mixing console, connected via a single Cat5 cable using Allen & Heath’s dSNAKE protocol. dSNAKE controls the remote preamp, and all microphone preamps are scene-recallable. The AR2412 also includes a monitor port for connecting to ME-1 personal mixing consoles and an expansion port for daisy-chaining an AR84 or AB168.
